Reflecting & Looking Ahead

Here at the Leadership Line, we want to wish a very Happy New Year to all our partners, leaders,
and colleagues in this first month of 2023!
As one year welcomes the next, many of us are taking this time to reflect on the past year to
assess what was and to envision the year ahead to make decisions and plans on what can be.
Think about the past year. What worked? What didn’t? Reflection lays the groundwork for
setting fresh goals for the new year. Look for areas where your team was found wanting and
establish goals to plug the gaps. Be honest in your reflection with your team. It’s important to
point out where the team did well but also where it needs improvement.
This issue focuses on celebrating some of the wins of the prior year and positioning your teams
for success in the year ahead.
