Schedule 8 Medications
Schedule 8 (S8) Medication may be
administered by a Registered Nurse
whether in a Dose Administration
Aid or in original packaging provided
it has been prescribed by a medical
practitioner with a written order
provided and signed by the Medical
Practitioner either as a regular
medication or PRN.
S8 Medication may be administered
by an Enrolled Nurse under the
supervision of a Registered Nurse
in some states under certain
circumstances if the Enrolled Nurse
DOES NOT have the notation:
‘Does not hold Board-approved
qualification in administration
of medications’ placed on their
registration.

Unpack and put away groceries
Prepare meals or support meal

The Just Better Care mealtime
service involves planning and
preparing meals as well as support
to eat and drink. This may include
assistance to:
Respite
More than 2.6 million Australians
provide unpaid care each year. Even
the most dedicated carers need some
personal time. The respite support
provided by Just Better Care, allows
carers to rest and re-energise with
peace of mind, on a regular or as-
needed basis.
Respite can be provided in the home
or out in the community, and is
adaptable to ensure everyone can get
the most out of their time. Respite can
also help develop new relationships
and experiences and give everyone a
break from the usual routine.
Respite support can involve:
