Teen Gaming Night

Join us for teen gaming! Play our Nintendo Switch®, classic games on the Wii U® , or choose from an assortment of card, dice and board games to play. Registration is required.
League of LegendsTM

Friends Learning Center
Summoners unite! Stop by and play League of LegendsTM in the Friends Learning Center. Space is limited to 10 players. Registration for this season’s league is required. Register once (found under the 3/7/19 date) to enroll for the entire March - May season. If a registered player misses two consecutive sessions without notifying the library, their spot will be open for a new registrant.
DIY Tin Can Robot

As part of our Teen Tech Week celebration, teens are invited to become scientists and learn how to construct a 4M Tin Can Robot with a little STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, & Math) ingenuity. Please note participants will not be able to bring their robot home; kits will be reused for future programs. Adult caregivers must remain in the library for any participant 11 years of age. Registration is required.
Sci-Fi/Fantasy Book Talk
Tuesday, March 12 6:30-7:30 pm
Teens (12+) & Adults Friends Room
Do you love all things sci-fi/fantasy? Then join us for a book talk where we will discuss our favorite sci-fi and fantasy novels. Bring your favorite book along to discuss (and maybe share a passage or two!) or take notes of others’ favorites to add to your to-be-read list. No registration is required.
  Free Practice ACT Test
Saturday, March 16 10 am–1 pm
Teens in Grades 9-12 Youth Activity Room
MPHPL and Sylvan Learning Center are teaming up to provide high school students with an opportunity to take a free ACT Practice Test. The assessment will be proctored at the library, courtesy of Sylvan Learning Center. Space is limited. Registration is required. Students should bring a #2 pencil and
a calculator.
After the test, teens and their parents can contact Sylvan (574) 367-7428 to receive their personalized results.
