  Teen Flashlight Egg Hunt

Join us for our 4th annual egg hunt! Bring a flashlight and join the quest to find hidden eggs full of candy. Glow-in-the-dark eggs will contain surprises.
Find the glitter egg to receive the grand prize! Registration is required.

We’re celebrating 2019’s One Book, One Michiana in a galactic way! Explore the planets in virtual reality, make a Play-dohTM alien and set its eyes aglow with Squishy CircuitsTM, and use everyday objects and turn them into interactive touchpads and switches with MakeyMakeyTM. Adult caregivers must remain in the library for any participant 11 years of age or younger. Registration is required.

Virtual Escape Room
Thursday, March 7 5-7 pm
Grades 6-12 Activity Room
Come and test out the library’s new virtual reality equipment with your friends! Teams will work together to conquer a virtual escape room. Teams must have between 2-4 members and each team will be assigned a 20-minute time slot in which to complete the challenge. Enjoy other video and board games while
you wait your turn. Time slots for the escape room will be reserved in the order that the registrations are received. An email will be sent to all registrants confirming their time slot. If you do not respond
to the email that is sent to you within two business days, the time slot will be forfeited and given to the next person on the list. Registration is required.
Spring Volunteer Day

Volunteer at the library by helping us prepare for the children’s DIY Spring Bird Feeder program. A certificate of volunteer hours will be issued to each participant. Registration is required.

As part of the 2019 One Book, One Michiana programming, make your very own "almost, but not quite, entirely unlike tea” galaxy garden (similar to a fairy garden... but also not quite, entirely unlike a fairy garden). Materials will be provided but you may bring your own. For teens and adults. Registration is required.

CardboardTM for you to explore and our Nintendo SwitchTM set up for gameplay while you wait your turn.
