• In year 12 your will be doing “the real
German”. You will be reading texts that have not

been written for learners of German but for
native speakers, and you will be asked to discuss

complex topics, both in writing and orally.

• The best way to improve your understanding
of a language as well as your fluency, is reading,

reading, reading. That is why over the lockdown
period, we have started reading the novel “Als

Hitler das rosa Kaninchen stahl” by Judith Kerr.

• Get yourself the book, and follow the link to
tasks that will lead you through the book in

handy little chunks, including extensive
vocabulary lists and links to Quizlet sets.
