Digital Camera is also known as Digicam.

I am an

input device

It produces digital images and gives them to the computer. So it is an input device.

Mind Click: Instead of a handheld mouse, the laptop has a track pad.

 A device that gives information to the computer is an Input Device.

 When you use the mouse by moving or clicking on the buttons, you tell the
computer what to do. So it is called an input device.

 When you type using the keyboard, you tell the computer what to do and so it is an

input device.
 Joystick is a device used to play games in a computer.

 Using a Scanner, you can scan pictures or text.

 You can write on the monitor using a light pen.
 You can take/capture pictures and videos and provide them to the computer using a

web cam.
 You can talk using the mic and your voice can be recorded inside the computer, so it

is an input device.
