The Prayer Mantle
[29] He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have
no might he increaseth strength.
[30] Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the
young men shall utterly fall:
[31] But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their
strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they
shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not
faint.
SCRIPTURE EXPOSITION
Day by day, the issues of life can lay so much weight on
humanity that it saps the strength in man to persevere and
hold on till the end. The scripture above makes us
understand that even though the youth who apparently
have so much energy will faint and be weary, and the
young men who undisputedly possess some physical
prowess will pass out. However, God will renew the
strength of His children that wait on him; those that
continuously tarry in his presence through prayer. They
will have the strength of an eagle and not faint. This is the
promise of God over your life - the strength of an eagle.
When an eagle soars, it glides in the air majestically. When
other birds are not able to go on, the eagle heads far and
further. As it soars in the air, the eagle is able to see its prey
and plan its mode of attack. Child of God, that is the mind
of Christ concerning you. Glory to Jesus! Claim what is
yours now in Jesus name.
