children to walk into their inheritance. The way by which
God's people can enjoy His blessings in their lives is by
getting on their knees to pray. The Bible says in 2
Chronicles 7:14, "If my people, which are called by my
name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my
face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear
from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal
their land." We are guaranteed of speedy answers to our
prayers only if we can go to God in prayer. Psalm 65:2
says, "O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh
come". Solomon also confirmed God's willingness to
grant us our requests as we pray. 1 Kings 8:28-30:

[28] Yet have thou respect unto the prayer of
thy servant, and to his supplication, O LORD
my God, to hearken unto the cry and to the
prayer, which thy servant prayeth before
thee to day:
[29] That thine eyes may be open toward
this house night and day, even toward the
place of which thou hast said, My name
shall be there: that thou mayest hearken
unto the prayer which thy servant shall
make toward this place.
[30] And hearken thou to the supplication of
thy servant, and of thy people Israel, when
they shall pray toward this place: and hear
thou in heaven thy dwelling place: and
when thou hearest, forgive.
