The Prayer Mantle
SCRIPTURE EXPOSITION
Mercy is defined as exemption from judgement. It reveals
God's soft-heartedness, kindness, sympathy, tender-
heartedness, tolerance, generosity, magnanimity and
beneficence. God grants His children mercy irrespective
of what we might have done. David said in Psalms 130:3,
"If You, LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could
stand?" God's mercy is amazing. It completely covers all
our mistakes and wrong doings, and makes us to have a
right standing with God as if we never ever did those
things.
God's mercy does not only exempted us from the guilt of
sin and it's consequences, but it also opens immeasurable
doors to us His children. The scripture says in Ephesians
3:19-21,
[19] And to know the love of Christ, which passeth
knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of
God
[20] Now unto him that is able to do exceeding
abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to
the power that worketh in us,
[21] Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus
throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
When the Mercy of God is released on you, the things you
are not qualifed for you shall receive. David cried to God in
Psalms 119:41, "Let thy mercies come also unto me, O
Lord, even thy salvation, according to thy word". Go to
God and do the same.
