Introduction
As a teen, it is common to try to fit in, prove yourself, be popular, and understand who you are. It’s normal to struggle with confidence, too. Having food allergies can make it even more difficult because allergies can easily be perceived as a weakness or as something for which we should be sorry. Sometimes allergies can even feel like a burden to others.
Having confidence usually means accepting and liking yourself for who you are. But what’s the secret to being okay with your allergies when they have mostly felt like a nuisance and an inconvenience for all of your life?
