a beautiful and unique soul. this world was a better place with you in it. -GYD

                     November 22, 2017
I am sorry to hear about Hilary's passing. We took AP Computer Science class together in High School.
I work in computer science education nowadays and think about her sometimes, especially how she
was the only girl in our class. She was a bright and capable student. Please accept my deepest
                     condolences

                     Sue, Ron, Craig-
My heart broke when I heard what happened to Hilary.
I will remember Fourth of Julys, our trip to the cabin in Minnesota, her graduations, and visiting her in
Virginia. Mostly I will remember her smile.

Hilary had a warm heart - compassionate to all, yet she was strong willed - wanting to fix all the wrong in
the world - never compromising her beliefs.

You raised an amazing daughter. Hilary became an exceptional woman. It was an honor to know her.
I will miss her - my combat boot wearing, Star Trek (The Next generation) fan, ferret loving, "daughter
                     from another mother".
                     Love always,
                     Barbara and Keith

My deepest condolences to all the family members of Hillary. I was one of the faculty, at UIC, with whom
Hillary worked on a project. She was a pleasant, bright student.

My deepest condolences to Hilary's parents, family, and friends. I have a daughter around her age, and
can only imagine the grief you are suffering. I did not have the pleasure of meeting Hilary, but I am
always in awe of young women who are successful in the very competitive field of computer science,
where women are a distinct minority. She must have been a very brilliant and impressive young woman.
I am so sorry for your loss.
