Dr. Alfred Martin, Jr., Ph.D., a native of West Jackson, is

President and CEO of Environmental Management Plus, Inc.

(“EMP”). EMP is a Jackson, Mississippi-based full-service

environmental contracting, consulting, and urban planning firm

established in 1992. Dr. Martin has a long working history with the
State of Mississippi, the Mississippi Department of Environmental

Quality (MDEQ), and the Lead-based Paint Certification. Dr. Martin

provides specifications to contractors to help them work around

hazardous materials and structures.
