            Each of the two impressive cylinders is decorated with
            continuous lotus scrolls below the waisted necks with
            further lotus scrolls and above the waisted feet with petal
            lappets. The two sections are joined by a gilt-bronze
            eagle with outspread wings, and standing on a fearsome
            crouched mythical beast. The reverse is connected by
            the scrolling tail of the beast, below a chilong.
