A YELLOW-OVERLAY GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE
PROBABLY IMPERIAL, 1780-1850 452
The bottle is carved through the translucent yellow overlay to the 99
opaque yellow ground on either side with a pair of chilong above a pair
of phoenixes, forming a stylized shou character.

A PINK-OVERLAY WHITE GLASS ‘LOTUS’ SNUFF
BOTTLE

The bottle is well carved through the pink overlay to the opaque
white ground with overlapping lotus petals fnely incised to simulate
veining.
