A CARVED YELLOW GLASS SNUFF
BOTTLE
1780-1880
The translucent bottle is fnely carved on both
sides with a coiled carp spewing a pearl and
emerging from waves.

JINGDEZHEN KILNS, 1800-1900
The frst bottle, 1800-1860, is decorated
with a dragon amidst clouds and a further
dragon chasing a pearl on the base. The
second bottle, 1820-1900, is decorated
with foral scrolls, the blossoms highlighted
in copper red, and the character yu (jade) is
on the base. The third bottle, 1820-1880, is
decorated with an elderly fgure and a boy
next to a pine tree, an apocryphal Kangxi
mark is on the base.
