white, brown and beige ovoid forms in a light
grey stone.

TWO RED-OVERLAY GLASS SNUFF
BOTTLES
1760-1860
The frst, 1770-1860, is carved through the
clear red glass overlay to the translucent
white ground with lotus and water plants. The
second, 1760-1850, is decorated with two carp
amidst water weeds, carved through the clear
red glass overlay to the clear ground.
3º and 3 in. (8.2 and 7.6 cm.) high, glass and
jadeite stoppers (2)
