The cup of bell shape, the deep sides rising from a slightly tapered Ware, Beijing, 2008 p.49, no.35. The Imperial Archives record that
foot to a flared rim, all raised on a recessed base, of amethyst purple glass cups were used for wine drinking in the Palace, for example in
colour, box. the 14th year of Qianlong’s reign (1749), the Eunuch Hu Shijie delivered
