                                                                  examples in the Taipei Palace Musuem, such as the pink-ground sgraffito
                                                                  vase (inventory number: 故瓷008214N000000000), and the yellow ground
                                                                  gold painted sgraffito revolving double gourd vase (see Stunning Decorative
                                                                  Porcelains from Ch’ien-Lung Reign, p.50). The sgraffito ground of the current
                                                                  vase and that of the yellow-ground double gourd vase are both painted.

                                                                  Other coloured-ground sgraffito revolving vases are recorded, such as the
                                                                  aforementioned archaic phoenix-eared vase (fig. 3), the Tokyo National
                                                                  Museum vase with puce-ground sgraffito (fig.  5) and the revolving vase
                                                                  with anbaxian design in the Beijing Palace Museum (fig. 9). The latter two
                                                                  examples are very similar in form and decorative scheme to the current
                                                                  example, all with varying decorative bands from the mouth to the foot, and
                                                                  also compare very closely to the vase offered in Christie’s Hong Kong in
                                                                  2011 (fig. 10). The passionfruit scroll on the current vase, however, shows

                                                                  彩瓷特有的錦上添花作法,而錦上添花可以錐剔與描繪錦紋兩種方式製
                                                                  作。以鳳尾卷草錦紋為地的作品,在臺北故宮的不少藏品中可以看到,如
                                                                  〈粉彩粉紅地錦上添花番蓮紋花口瓶〉即是粉紅色地錐剔卷草錦紋(故
                                                                  瓷008214N000000000);或如乾隆八年的〈磁胎洋彩轉旋葫蘆瓶〉則為
                                                                  黃地描繪金彩卷草錦地(圖見《華麗彩瓷:乾隆洋彩》,頁50)。而本拍品
                                                                  的鳳尾卷草錦紋與前述這件葫蘆瓶一樣皆採描繪技法。使用色地錦上添
                                                                  花的裝飾手法,在其他轉心瓶也可看見,如前述北京故宮的夔鳳耳轉心
                                                                  瓶(圖三),東京國立博物館的雙耳轉心瓶則是紫紅地繪鳳尾卷草紋(圖
                                                                  五)、或是北京故宮〈粉彩暗八仙紋雙耳轉心瓶〉等(圖九 ,見《琺瑯彩‧
                                                                  粉彩》,圖版158)。而後二者,東京國立博物館和北京故宮的這兩件轉心
                                                                  瓶,它們的造型近似本拍品,紋飾佈局亦類似,從口沿至圈足一層層繪飾
                                                                  不同紋樣與圖案;而這兩件與2011年佳士得的一件拍品〈乾隆時時報喜
