A VERY RARE CELADON-GROUND FAMILLE- 清十九世紀初
ROSE WINE WARMER AND COVER 粉青地粉彩瓜瓞綿綿雙蝶耳瓜棱式套壺
QING DYNASTY, EARLY 19TH CENTURY
the lobed ovoid body of the warmer rising from a recessed
base to an inverted rim, brightly enamelled to each lobe with
geometric melon and butterfly strapwork reserved on a pale
celadon ground, the shoulders set with a pair of high relief
butterfly handles, the turquoise enamelled cylindrical ewer
set to one side with an elegant S-shaped spout, the upper
section of domed lobed shape forming the cover to the
warmer and further surmounted by a circular flat cover and
two simple loop handles
