                        Bronze and gold garment-hook (daigou)
                        Late Warring States period, 3rd century BC.
                        Length: 22 cm





                               Elegantly curved garment-hook, cast in three tapering facets which merge
                        at the shaft to terminate in an animal’s  head hook. The garment-hook’s surface is
                        richly inlaid in gold with an elaborate design of two intertwined stylized dragons.
                        The reverse is set with a stud for attachment.
