These paintings are part of a collection in Zagreb owned by 114
a professor with a long and deep interest in Asian philosophy,
martial arts and the visual arts. He acquired his Chinese LUI SHOU-KWAN (LÜ SHOUKUN, 1919-1975)
paintings from former Yugoslavian diplomats and artists, who Pine Among Autumn Mountains
traveled to China when the countries enjoyed good relations.
These early paintings by Lui Shoukwan were obtained in Scroll, mounted for framing, ink and color on paper
Zagreb between 1990-2000. 22 ¡ x 13 in. (56.8 x 33 cm.)
