A CLOISOENNE ENAMEL
WATERPOT AND COVER
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The square form waterpot has canted corner and
sloping shoulders. It is decorated on the four sides with
cartouches containing floral sprays, below archaistic
scrolls around the shoulders. The slightly domed cover
has two chilong dragons encircling a shou medallion.
The base is decorated with prunus on a cracked ice
ground.

EARLY MING DYNASTY
Each rectangular plaque is cast and pierced
with a pair of dragons contesting a pearl,
the protruding dragon head holding an oval
loose ring further pierced with a pair of
dragons.
