A LARGE YELLOW-GLAZED BOWL Smaller examples, measuring approximately 18.5cm diameter,

The present bowl is notable for its large size and luminous, $ 30,000-50,000
soft yellow glaze. Compare a similar bowl in the Museum of
Far Eastern Antiquities, illustrated in Oriental Ceramics. The 明弘治 黃釉大盌
World’s Greatest Collections, vol. 8, 1982, pl. 91. Another
example of the same size as the present lot was sold at 《大明弘治年製》款
Christie’s New York, 23rd March 2018, lot 723.
