small dragon emerges, the well-polished stone of very

A CELADON JADE ‘TWIN DRAGON’ PENDANT
WARRING STATES PERIOD
modelled as two intertwined dragons with long snouts
and curled horns, detailed to the body on both sides with
stylised ‘C’ scrolls and centred with a taotie mask design
below a small aperture, the stone of even celadon tone
with faint white highlights
Length 9.2 cm, 3⅝ in.

China, 1982, pl. XL, no. 3; compare another example,
