trained in Chinese culture and cannot read Chinese
characters and yet he has been driven to collect these
fantastic Chinese objects. Fortunately, Barry’s passion
has always been tempered by having a “good eye,” that
is naturally attracted to good objects. Barry is always
drawn to the myriad shapes of ancient Chinese bronzes,
all of which have been given specific names. It is always
