A MINIATURE INCISED
WHITE-GLAZED
‘GARLIC-HEAD’ VASE
YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN
UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND PROBABLY OF
THE PERIOD (1723-1735)
The vase has a bulbous body rising to a garlic-head-shaped
mouth and is incised under the glaze with a fve-clawed
dragon chasing a faming pearl amidst clouds. all under a
white glaze of pale blue tone.

thinning to white at the mouth rim.
