the ovoid body surmounted by a short waisted neck and everted lipped rim, finely painted with two pairs of copper-red roses, one
in full bloom and the other bud partially open, each borne on a thorny black-enameled stem issuing furling leaves in shades of
green, the rosebuds picked out in iron red at the sepals, the recessed base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character mark
in three columns
