a confronting male and female phoenix amongst cloud scrolls, the cartouche panels, all reserved on a design of insects and flowers,
exterior with a similar continuous design, wood stands and fitted flanked with loop handles, wood stand. 36cm (14 1/8in) high

Finely painted with an Islamic geometric design centred around a lotus AN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND IRON RED ‘DRAGON’ VASE
flower head, interspersed with foliate bands and roundels, the short Late Qing Dynasty
neck and foot with a hatched pattern. Of tri-lobed baluster form, decorated with a forward facing five-clawed
18cm (7 1/8in) high dragon, flanked by two sinuous, confronting dragons pursuing the
flaming pearl, amongst flames and cloud scrolls, above a broad band
