Kangxi
The first enamelled with a vigorous pair of
dragons vying for a pearl amongst flaming
clouds, the second with a phoenix and a
dragon whirling around a flaming pearl, each
with typical channelled footrims.

A FAMILLE VERTE ‘HUNDRED
ANTIQUES’ BOWL
Kangxi
With flaring sides rising from a cylindrical
foot, painted to the interior with objects
representative of the ‘hundred antiques’, the
exterior with bands of key fret and dot motifs
at the rim, a band of stylised leaves encircling
the foot, apocryphal Xuande six-character
mark to the base.
