late qing dynasty
the wide conical bowl supported on a tall
splayed stem, decorated to the exterior with
three ‘boneless’ fish and white ground in copper-
red glaze.

A Chinese famille rose ‘dragon and phoenix’
bottle vase
guangxu six character mark, early 20th century
globular body on a slightly splayed foot, with a
waisted neck and flared rim, the exterior decorated
with a five-clawed dragon and a large phonix flying
among multi-colored cloud.

A Chinese famille rose ‘zhongkui’ vase
iron-red tong yun shan fang mark, hongxian period
the ovoid body rising to a rounded shoulder, and narrow
short waisted neck with everted dished mouth, finely
fencai enamelled around the exterior with the Zhongkui
shown stood in the middle accompanied by two
demons, one with a pole over his shoulder suspending a
purple wine jar and a rolled mat, the other carrying a
bamboo and lantern.
