A fine Chinese gilt bronze, silver wire and Canton
enamel casket box
guangzhou imperial workshop, 18th/19th century
of rectangular form with hinged lid and lock, raised on
scrolled feet cast with goldfish and with ornate scrolled
handles, the walls decorated with enamel on silver
floral scrolls adhered to silver wire mesh and to top
with marine creatures, in fitted period silk-lined leather
case.
