STONE-DIPPER TEAPOT AND COVER
SIGNED ZHIYUN, REPUBLICAN PERIOD
well potted with sloping sides rising from three flattened
circular feet, carved to one side with slender shoots of leafy
bamboo, the other side with an inscription and signed Ziye, the
base impressed with a seal reading Zhiyun shi zao (‘made by
Zhiyun’)

of square section with bulging sides supported on four tapered
foot, carved with a landscape scene, the other side with an
inscription signed Yixing Zuoru zhuren ke (‘carved by Zuoru’),
the interior of the cover impressed with a Guilin mark, the base
with a shunchang mark
