both fragments of a larger painting, the first wearing a purple
garment, holding a brush in its right hand, looking at a tiger in
the distance, the second, possibly Cao Guojiu, dressed in green
and sporting an official hat, holding a pair of clappers, both
finely painted in ink and coloured pigment on paper, framed
and glazed
