A PALE CELADON JADE ‘MONKEY AND PEACH’ GROUP
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The group is carved as a monkey and two bats upon a cluster of peaches
growing from a gnarled branch. The stone is of a very pale celadon tone and
has some pale russet inclusions.
