A LACQUERED BRONZE FIGURE OF BUDDHA
MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
The Buddha is seated in dhyanasana with his right hand raised in abhayamudra
and his left hand rests in his lap. The fgure is dressed in long robes falling
open at his chest, with the hems incised with a foral pattern. There is a
contemplative expression on his soft face, with downcast eyes and elongated
earlobes.
