A FAMILLE ROSE ‘BUTTERFLY’ BASIN
TONGZHI SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN IRON-
RED AND OF THE PERIOD (1862-1874)
The basin is decorated with a multitude of
butterfies amongst gilt shou characters. The rim
is painted with butterfies and gourds on a ground
of vine-scroll.
