The repaired cup potted with steep sides rising from a flat base to
108 | BONHAMS a flared rim, the exterior painted in rich cobalt hues with eight lantsa
characters amid classic lotus blossoms on scrolling leafy stems, the
spreading foot encircled with with beaded tassels below a band of
lotus lappets, the floor of the interior well filled with a large flower
head, and the seal script mark written in a horizontal line on the
interior base.
