A DEHUA FIGURE OF GUANYIN
LATE Qing Dynasty
The figure is shown standing in a graceful pose on the back of a
dragon admist swirling waves. She wears a long celestial robe, that
falls in folds to the tops of the bare feet and are open at the chest to
reveal a beaded necklace centered by a medallion, holding a ruyi in
her left hand. The back is impressed with two apocryphal Xuande
and He Chaozong marks.

A MOULDED Ding-type IVORY-GLAZED
SOFT-PASTE OCTAGONAL BRUSH POT
REPUBLIC PERIOD
The octagonal brush pot is moulded on each facet with twenty
one Shou characters in various forms of seal script, the inverted
mouth rim with a continuous band of floral scroll, all supported
on four ruyi-shaped feet and covered with a crackled ivory glaze.
The base is moulded with an apocryphal Qianlong reign mark.
