1244 楊守敬 書法 水墨紙本 立軸 一九一三年作
YANG SHOUJING (1839-1914) 題識:瓊 林瑤樹擁樓台,戶牗臨風晚自開。
一鳥不飛人跡斷,扁舟何處獨歸來。
Calligraphy 癸丑(1913年)五月鄰蘇老人書於上海。時年七十有五。

Inscribed and signed, with three seals of the artist 日下部鳴鶴又題:楊星吾余海外知己也,一別卅年,
Dated fifth month, guichou year (1913) 夢寐不忘於思,今對此書有千里面晤之想嗟。
Further inscribed and signed by Kusakabe Meikaku (1838-1922), 甲寅(1914年)蘭秋,野鶴老人識,
with three seals 時年七十有四。
Dated autumn, jiayin year (1914)
Further inscribed and signed by Xuxin Laoren on the wooden box, 鈐印:東作、鳴鶴、玄同
with two illegible seals

Kusakabe Meikaku was the father of Japanese modern shodo and
the founder of the Meikaku style. He was one of the most famous 二印漫漶
calligraphers of the Meiji era. As a member of the emissary team of the
Qing court to Japan led by He Ruzhang, Yang Shoujing stayed in Japan 註:日下部鳴鶴(1838-1922),號野鶴、老鶴、鶴叟,別署蘭石
