NOTE:

The owner’s family member recalls that this painting was acquired in
Hong Kong in the 1970s as a gesture of appreciation to the artist.
The original owner was acquainted with Zhang Daqian, who had
previously gifted her one of his paintings, as they were both involved
in the arts industry in China and Taiwan.

題識：玉 井孤根偏似船，野風零落墮愁煙。
若教悟得無生理，應笑藏舟華頂仙。
爰翁可以居寫并識。

註：現藏家家族成員回憶，原藏家與張大千因在內地和台灣文化界
的聯繫而相識。張大千曾贈予原藏家一幅作品。而此作品後來由原
藏家得自香港，作為對畫家的感謝。
