A CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL FANGGU-FORM VASE
17TH CENTURY
The vase is divided by gilt-bronze vertical flanges on the corners,
and enameled on each side with a taotie mask in the bulbous mid-
section, and with archaistic lappets enclosing confronted chilong on
the flaring foot and neck. The interior of the neck is enameled with a
band of stylized lotus scroll.

A LARGE PAINTED ENAMEL BOTTLE VASE
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The globular body is enameled in imitation of cloisonné enamel
with leafy lotus scroll between a band of ruyi-heads and upright
plantain leaves, above a band of flower heads around the foot.
The flaring neck is decorated with two panels enclosing double
happiness characters, shuangxi, flanked by pair of gilt-bronze
archaistic scroll handles and surrounded by further lotus scrolls.
