A PALE GREEN JADE ARCHAISTIC VASE AND COVER
Qianlong
The flattened vase flanked by a pair of stylised scrolling handles, each
side well carved in relief with a taotie mask to the central register
beneath a band of lappets, the cover surmounted by a circular rope-
twist finial, the stone of greenish-white tone with cloudy inclusions.

A SMALL VERY PALE GREEN JADE BOWL AND COVER
18th/19th century
Carved from an attractive translucent stone of even pale green tone,
the shallow bowl with deeply rounded sides raised on a neatly carved
short foot, accompanied with a gently domed cover.
