A CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL ‘BAJIXIANG’ BARBED-RIM DISH

Decorated with a dense pattern of bats amongst the auspicious
Eight Buddhist Emblems, all on a turquoise ground and surrounding
a central shou character, the water-caltrop-shaped rim with scrolling
lotus heads, the reverse with a lotus scroll and the base with petalled
flowers on a cracked-ice pattern ground.
