Each with the wood seat formed by two rectangular panels enclosed R.H.Ellsworth, Chinese Hardwood Furniture in Hawaiian Collections,
within a square mitre, mortise and tenon frame, with a moulded apron Honolulu, 1982, pl.16 (one of the four stools; top left stool illustrated in
resembling a rounded member, supported on thick cylindrical legs this lot)
joined by wrap-around humpback stretchers and openwork aprons of
