VASES

Of hexagonal baluster form, each flanked by a pair
of scrolling handles and covered in a dark, lustrous
blue glaze thinning at the edges, gilt with pavilions,
boats, prunus and floral sprays, a yin yang symbol
on the central band between the body and neck.
