A RARE WHITE-GLAZED ANHUA ‘DRAGON’
DISH
Kangxi six-character mark and of the period
With flared rounded sides rising from a wide foot,
the centre incised with a writhing dragon chasing a
flaming pearl amidst clouds, the exterior with two
further dragons between single line borders, all
covered in a milky-white glaze, wood box.

A RARE PAIR OF WHITE-GLAZED ANHUA
‘DRAGON’ BOWLS
Chenghua six-character marks, 17th/18th century
Each delicately potted with deep rounded sides
rising to a flared rim from a narrow cylindrical foot,
subtly carved in faint anhua with two scaly five-
clawed dragons in pursuit of a flaming pearl around
the interior walls, all under a smooth creamy
glaze, box.
Each 12.5cm (4 7/8in) diam. (3).
