A RARE LARGE ZITAN BRUSH
KANGXI PERIOD, DATED CYCLICAL WUZI YEAR,
CORRESPONDING TO 1708 AND OF THE PERIOD
The zitan brush handle is formed by a dome-shaped
receptacle , with inscription reading Kangxi wuzi He
Zhuo qingwan’ (Wuzi year of Kangxi period, for He
Zhuo’s pure pleasure). This lot is accompanied by a
stone seal with the inscription quan xi tang.

He Zhuo (1661-1722), studio name Qizhan, is one of the ‘Four
