A VERY LARGE WHITE JADE ‘BAMBOO’ DOUBLE VASE
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
清十八世紀 白玉竹節式雙聯花插
substantially worked as two hollow bamboo shoots forming
the double vase, the exterior superbly rendered with
undulating raised nodes and further bamboo branches issuing
slender leaves, the stone of a white colour with russet streaks
and natural striations skilfully incorporated in the design,
wood stand
