A GROUP OF FIVE JADE CARVINGS
The first a reticulated pendant formed by confronting catfish amid a
mesh of vines and fungus, carved from stone of greenish-white hue;
the second a pendant of elongated irregularly ovoid section perhaps
meant to depict a leafy eggplant, carved from stone of greenish hue
contrasting with large patches of russet ‘skin’ along the underside
incised to depict a bird grasping a flower; the third a thin-sectioned
depiction of a squirrel and grapes upon a lotus leaf, carved from
gray-green stone; the fourth a two-section belt buckle linked by a
dragon-head hook and adorned in undercut chilong dragon standing
on one side, carved from whitish stone displaying a brownish tinge;
and the fifth depicting two recumbent mammals both chewing on the
sprig of reticulated plant matter separating them, the stone of gray-
green hue displaying a patch of brownish tinge.

A GROUP OF SIX JADE CARVINGS
The first a small group of fungi carved from greenish stone; the
second a pendant perhaps depicting a peach and a bat carved from
a triangular section of greenish stone marked by subtle patches
of russet; the third a reticulated group of lingzhi fungi carved from
grayish stone tinged in hues of russet; the fourth a bi-disk covered in
raised bosses on one side and reversed by two raised-relief chilong,
carved from stone of greenish hue; the fifth a belt buckle rendered
as a squatting immortal holding a pennant reading yi tuan he qi
and reversed by two buttons for suspension, carved from mottled
seafoam colored jade; and the sixth a thin sectioned lingzhi fungus
head reversed by vines and blossoms, carved from stone of gray
green displaying some areas of russet tinge.

A GROUP OF FOUR JADE CARVINGS
Two rendered as irregularly shaped bi disks of chilong and geometric
patterns, carved from stone of light gray tinged by blue-gray; the
third a thin sectioned group of lotus leaves displaying a small vein of
russet ‘skin’ along the underside; and the fourth a bunch of gourds
encircled by leafy tendrils and streaked in russet and black inclusions.
