                                                       century, the upright rectangular
                                                       panel finely carved in relief on
                                                       one side with two scholars and
                                                       their attendant ascending a steep
                                                       path through a mountainous
                                                       landscape with pine, wutong and
                                                       prunus, toward a pavilion nestled
                                                       in the hanging cliffs, the reverse
                                                       depicting with a lakeside scene,
                                                       finely detailed with pavilions,
                                                       sailing fishermen in sampans and
                                                       a sage admiring the landscape,
                                                       the semi-translucent stone with
                                                       some russet inclusions, on a later
                                                       spinach-green jade stand, 20cm
                                                       high and 13.2cm wide, stand
                                                       9.5cm high

                       A carved white jade vase, Qing
                       dynasty, of flattened baluster form
                       with well hollowed interior, the
                       rim, as the knopped conical cover,
                       engraved with key-fret designs,
                       the neck set with a pair of scroll
                       handles, carved in high relief
                       around the exterior with standing
                       cranes amid rocks and pine trees,
                       the stone of very pale green matrix,
                       14.5cm high, stand 3cm high
